Thinking of You 🤔 Day 6

Welcome!

Today, I have another Pinterest inspired handcrafted card. My hubby had to help me with this card. I’m not very good at centering my paper pieces, so I had to call in for some help!

I ended up making this card in a few different colors. It was fun! I hope you like it.

Until tomorrow…

Thinking of You 🤔 Day 5

Welcome and happy Friday!

Today’s card was inspired by YouTuber, Stacy Williams. I followed along with her video:

This is definitely a card I’m going to mass produce! Do you prefer to take your time on one special card, or do you like to mass produce your creations? I like mass producing. After 20 or so times, I usually get it just the way I want it 😀

Until tomorrow…

Thinking of You 🤔 Day 4

Welcome!

It’s still awfully cold in these parts, but it did warm up to -9 today! So much better than -31! I get off track pretty easily!

Yesterday I shared a handcrafted card that was full of ”oops” moments, so I decided to try it again. Today’s card turned out perfectly!

Life can be full of frustrations and for me, I can get pretty down on myself. It is so important not to do that, but to take those frustrations and turn them into opportunities. I would love to share my latest, ”opportunity” with you.

Thinking of You 🤔 Day 3

Welcome!

First, I would like to share with you the temperature outside as I write this is -31 with windchill! I’m very happy to be inside!

Anyway, back to business. The handcrafted card I am sharing with you today was not the card I set out to make. It is filled with ”oops” moments. Let me explain.

First, the top embossed piece was supposed to come down to a little over half of the card front. I got chop happy and cut it too short. Well, I tried to balance it out by using washi tape. However, the first application was crooked. When I pulled the tape up, I tore the card! Instead of just tossing it altogether, I saved the card by using a larger piece of washi and covered the tear.

I think it turned out pretty good, but tomorrow I will go back to the drawing board.

Until tomorrow…

Thinking of You 🤔 Day 2

Welcome!

Today, I have three variations of a Pinterest inspired handcrafted card. I love when I find something on Pinterest and I am able to use items I already have in my stash.

I cut two, 4”x2.5” pieces of white cardstock and then used a border punch along the 4” side. I embossed each piece using my Cuddlebug. I adhered both pieces onto colored cardstock, measuring 4”x5.25”. I then used coordinating flower embellishments, along with a, Thinking of you sentiment stamp. Finally, I adhered the completed card front to an A2 size card base.

Stay tuned for more Pinterest inspired treasures.

Until tomorrow…

Thinking of You 🤔 Day 1

Welcome!

Today, I start all over with a new theme of handcrafted cards. This week’s theme is, Thinking of You.

This card was very simple to create. For the card front, I cut a piece or white cardstock down to 4”x5.25”. I embossed it using my Cuddlebug and adhered it to an A2 size card base. I embellished the front, using butterflies made using my EK Tools’ butterfly punch as well as a prayer sentiment from my Hero Arts stamp and cut prayer set.

I hope you enjoy this weeks’ handcrafted cards!

Until tomorrow…
