Inspire 🌈 Day 12

Welcome!

Here is another 3×3 card. I love these because they are so versatile. I wish I would have know about these when my kids were little. I would have stuck them in their lunches or in their backpacks daily ♥️

Until tomorrow…

Summertime 🍦Day 5

Welcome!

I love the simplicity of this card, although it took me a good hour to make!

I loaded up a block with all four elements and just started randomly stamping. I then broke out my colored pencils and had fun coloring in the images. I then ran the finished card front through my Empress and embossed the entire front with hearts!

Oh Baby 🍼 Day 11

Welcome!

I love making gift tags almost as much as I love making greeting cards. They are so simple to create. I just recycle food boxes to use as the base for the tags. I have a tag maker to create the shape and then simply glue the tag to decorative paper. Add a few embellishments and twine to make the perfect tag!

Oh Baby 🍼 Day 1

Welcome!

I’m excited for my new card series! I purchased this card kit from Hobby Lobby and I know I will be able to provide some very cute cards all week!

Make sure to come back each day to see a new creation!

Father’s Day 🎩 Day 3

Welcome!

In today’s card I am still using the card kit I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I printed out a fish template off of the Internet and traced it onto some of the papers included in the kit. I then punched out a hole in each fish and tied each one to some twine. I added a few embellishments to complete this simple Father’s Day card.

I hope this card makes you smile!

Happy Anniversary 🎉 Day 5

Welcome!

Today’s card was so much fun to make. I used supplies I already had on hand and with a bit of inspiration from Pinterest, I was able to create another heart felt card. What I think is special about this card, is that it can’t be mass produced. I don’t have duplicates of the hearts or the tag.

One of a kind by me ❤️

No fancy backdrops tonight. We had to run a few errands after supper, but by the time we got home and I finished the card, it was already dark outside. The backdrop is my desk I recently bought from Ikea.

Happy Anniversary 🎉 Day 1

Welcome!

I’m starting a Happy Anniversary series this week. I had to begin with an origami dress. If you’ve been following me, you know the origami dress is one of the first cards I ever made and sold on Etsy. I’ve come a long way since that first card, but origami will always be my favorite ❤️

The lighting is a little off on this card. I got wrapped up in watching the finale of American Idol! By the time it was over and I made my card, it was already dusk. It’s ok! I think it still turned out pretty cool.

Until tomorrow (and hopefully better lighting)…

Rugged 🤠 Day 6

Welcome!

For those of you that do not know me, I started my crafting journey by making origami dresses and shirts to be the focal points of my handcrafted cards. I found origami was a great way to focus my thoughts on one task, which helped reduce my anxiety to manageable levels. I remember getting a MRI and going over and over in my head the process of folding an origami dress.

Happy Saturday to you and yours!

Until tomorrow…

Quilling 🌸 Day 5

Welcome!

Do you remember earlier in the week I started off making a tag for my post, but I ripped it? Well, I tried it again and used hole reinforcers and this time it worked out just fine!

I hope you are having a wonderful Friday! I took a vacation day, so I’m looking forward to my 3 day weekend, plus my daughter is coming home for a visit 💕💕

Until tomorrow…
