Get Well 🤒 Day 2

Welcome!

As I write this, I’m not feeling too well. I just worked out, but as soon as I put my head backwards, my vertigo kicked in. Ugh-It really throws my system into a tailspin.

Anyway, I am excited to share today’s handcrafted card with you. It is once again inspired by Catherine Pooler Designs. She is absolutely amazing and her products are top notch!

Until tomorrow…

Get Well 🤒 Day 1

Welcome!

I’m very excited to start this new handcrafted card series. I’ve always used paper pads for my cards, but I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and try stamping, inking and blending!

I used to crochet for many years, but I had to give it up because my hands would cramp up so badly. Later, I tried coloring but I was not able to do so due to the same cramping in my hands. When I decided to start making cards, I focused on utilizing beautiful paper pads. I didn’t think I would be able to stamp, but I must be using different muscles, because I love it and I’m pain free!

I hope you enjoy this week’s theme. I will try to do some sort of stamping each day.

Today’s card is inspired by Catherine Pooler Designs.

Luck of the Irish ☘️ Day 7

Welcome!

Today is day 7 in the, “Luck of the Irish” series. I admit I struggled with this card. The background is two different patterns of washi tape. I struggled with the clovers I adhered to the front of the card. For some reason, this cardstock resembles construction paper I used as a kid, so it I just can’t get excited about it. I ended up layering the hearts for dimension and using some bling. I think I should have skipped the clovers all together and just added a sentiment to the front.

I want to share my successes and those that may not hit the mark. I’m human and I know you all accept me 😊

Luck of the Irish ☘️ Day 6

Welcome!

I had so much fun making this card today! I just got my new Anna Griffin Empress from HSN yesterday, so I used it to emboss the card front. I also used my Catherine Pooler ink to create a designer layering piece with my shamrock stamp. Finally, I used one of the new shamrock stickers I purchased from Hobby Lobby!

Enjoy today’s card and have a fabulous Saturday!

Until tomorrow…

Luck of the Irish ☘️ Day 5

Welcome!

Today’s handcrafted card was made using my Cricket and Catherine Pooler inks. I love the cut. It reminds me of an Irish Celtic image.

I went shopping at Hobby Lobby today and bought some fun St Patty’s Day images. I plan on using them to wind out the rest of this series.

It is snowing once again in the North. I have no idea where the plows will push this next wave of snow. We are shattering all sorts of records and continue to make the national news!

Let me get back to the matter at hand! Today, I have a special handcrafted card to share with you. I made two of these and sent them off to my beautiful children.

Paper Folding 📝 Day 7

Welcome!

I must admit, I love this card the most of my Paper Folding series. It is a true origami dove and it only took me three tries to get it right 😊

I’m glad I am home and safe; It is blizzard conditions outside. For all of my North friends, I pray you are extra safe today.

Until tomorrow…
