It’s still awfully cold in these parts, but it did warm up to -9 today! So much better than -31! I get off track pretty easily!
Yesterday I shared a handcrafted card that was full of ”oops” moments, so I decided to try it again. Today’s card turned out perfectly!
Life can be full of frustrations and for me, I can get pretty down on myself. It is so important not to do that, but to take those frustrations and turn them into opportunities. I would love to share my latest, ”opportunity” with you.
Today, I have three variations of a Pinterest inspired handcrafted card. I love when I find something on Pinterest and I am able to use items I already have in my stash.
I cut two, 4”x2.5” pieces of white cardstock and then used a border punch along the 4” side. I embossed each piece using my Cuddlebug. I adhered both pieces onto colored cardstock, measuring 4”x5.25”. I then used coordinating flower embellishments, along with a, Thinking of you sentiment stamp. Finally, I adhered the completed card front to an A2 size card base.
Stay tuned for more Pinterest inspired treasures.
Today, I start all over with a new theme of handcrafted cards. This week’s theme is, Thinking of You.
This card was very simple to create. For the card front, I cut a piece or white cardstock down to 4”x5.25”. I embossed it using my Cuddlebug and adhered it to an A2 size card base. I embellished the front, using butterflies made using my EK Tools’ butterfly punch as well as a prayer sentiment from my Hero Arts stamp and cut prayer set.
I hope you enjoy this weeks’ handcrafted cards!
I have two fun faithful cards to share with you. The first says, ”In a world where you can be anything, be kind.” This tells us we have a choice in how we react and treat others. We can be anything, so why would you want to be anything but kind?
The second card says, ”I need a little bit of coffee and a whole lot of Jesus.” Jesus is like the espresso in my latte. Today, I needed a triple shot of espresso in my latte! It was one of those days!
I hope you have a wonderful night. Until tomorrow…
Welcome and happy Tuesday.
Today I am pleased to share with you two more faith-inspired cards. The first is, ”I am a child of God.” This reminds me that it is ok not to be perfect. God loves all of our imperfections. To Him we are perfect. We are His children.
The other card says, ”Let us always rejoice in His word.” This statement makes my heart happy.
I finished the hot cocoa pack order for my coworker. She requested 35 sets! She was thrilled with the finished result. Reach out if you would like to hear about my process. You can also click on the link below for what inspired this project.
