Fireworks 💥 Day 1

Welcome!

New week, new series! This week I will share with you some fun 4th of July cards. This first card started off very differently, but I messed up the measurements. It was supposed to be just three strips, but they were not wide enough to make the card work the way I planned. I actually like how it turned out!

Father’s Day 🎩 Day 7

Welcome!

Today is the last day in my Father’s Day series. I must be honest with you and say that this was a difficult series. I’m not sure if it is because I no longer have my Dad or that I had problems getting creative with the fishing theme 🤔

Either way, I thank all of you here and my Instagram followers for being so positive and supportive with the cards I created. I appreciate you very much!

Until tomorrow…

Father’s Day 🎩 Day 5

Welcome!

Happy Friday my friends. I can’t believe it is already Friday. I’m hoping for a nice weekend.

Tonight’s card was fun to make. I used a stencil from Wish.com to create interest in the background and then layered items from the same card kit I’ve been using all week.

Enjoy your night!

Father’s Day 🎩 Day 4

Welcome!

Today’s card was lots of fun to make. I think I say that every time I post something. I really enjoy my craft and it is a wonderful outlet to my crazy life.

I like the fishing bling I added for the photo 😊 I had to chase my cats away and then take a quick photo! Curious cats for sure!

Until tomorrow…

Father’s Day 🎩 Day 3

Welcome!

In today’s card I am still using the card kit I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I printed out a fish template off of the Internet and traced it onto some of the papers included in the kit. I then punched out a hole in each fish and tied each one to some twine. I added a few embellishments to complete this simple Father’s Day card.

I hope this card makes you smile!

Father’s Day 🎩 Day 2

Welcome!

I had so much fun making this card. I used four different distressed oxide inks to blend the background and then I took one of the stencils I received from Wish.com and stenciled a brick pattern over the top of the blended ink. I like the interest the stencil gives to the card.

I finished the card off with some chipboard pieces from the Hobby Lobby card kit I purchased last week.

Hope you are having a great day.

Until tomorrow…

Father’s Day 🎩 Day 1

Welcome!

This week’s series will celebrate Dads! I plan to pop in a picture or two of my own Dad to honor his memory. He passed away almost 10 years ago and I miss him every day.

This card series will use a card making kit I purchased from Hobby Lobby. It is all about fishing, so I thought it would work well with this series.

Until tomorrow…

Rugged 🤠 Day 6

Welcome!

For those of you that do not know me, I started my crafting journey by making origami dresses and shirts to be the focal points of my handcrafted cards. I found origami was a great way to focus my thoughts on one task, which helped reduce my anxiety to manageable levels. I remember getting a MRI and going over and over in my head the process of folding an origami dress.

Happy Saturday to you and yours!

Until tomorrow…

Rugged 🤠 Day 5

Welcome!

Today’s card was unexpected. I currently sell my cards on consignment at the Eau Claire Local Store and I received an email earlier this week requesting more birthday cards, specifically the one I am sharing with you today.

I have given this card to only two people and they both are males, so I thought it would be fitting to blog about it in my “Rugged” series 😊

This was a fun card to make. I used my Cricut to cut out all the balloons and also dimensional to pop up a few to give the card more interest.

I hope you are having a good day! It’s almost the weekend!

Until tomorrow…

Becky 🥰
