Easter 🐣 Day 3

Today’s card uses a technique I learned from watching Jennifer McGuire She is so amazing! I stamped my image, colored it using my Nuvo markers and then cut it up into pieces. Believe me, cutting up my image after coloring it for about 30 minutes, was not easy to do!! But, once I put the card all together, I really like how it turned out!

This card went out to my sister.

Welcome Home 🏡 Day 5

I had a lot of fun creating this card. I used Catherine Pooler‘s beautiful Happy Place stamp set. The card design was inspired by Daniel West of Del & Artie.

This past weekend, I cut out and colored one of the houses. I set it aside, not knowing what I was going to do with it.

I decided to stamp out a row of houses and then glue my original house on top of one of the images. I couldn’t decide on a sentiment, so I decided to leave it off this time. Simple, yet beautiful.

Until tomorrow…

Paper Folding 📝 Day 7

I must admit, I love this card the most of my Paper Folding series. It is a true origami dove and it only took me three tries to get it right 😊

I’m glad I am home and safe; It is blizzard conditions outside. For all of my North friends, I pray you are extra safe today.

Until tomorrow…

Thinking of You 🤔 Day 1

Today, I start all over with a new theme of handcrafted cards. This week’s theme is, Thinking of You.

This card was very simple to create. For the card front, I cut a piece or white cardstock down to 4”x5.25”. I embossed it using my Cuddlebug and adhered it to an A2 size card base. I embellished the front, using butterflies made using my EK Tools’ butterfly punch as well as a prayer sentiment from my Hero Arts stamp and cut prayer set.

I hope you enjoy this weeks’ handcrafted cards!

Until tomorrow…

Have Faith – Day 5

I love the next set of cards I am sharing with you today. The first one says, ”God gave me you.” I have multiple sets of this card and I plan on giving them to my children. I’m so blessed God gave me such beautiful children. They make me very proud.

The second card says, ”Love one another as I have loved you.” This is so important, especially during those times when we may start acting unkindly to someone. We need to remember God wants us to always be kind and caring to our neighbors.

Until tomorrow!
