Happy Anniversary 🎉 Day 2

Today’s card was not planned out at all. I received some very inexpensive stencils from Wish.com. I believe I received 12 stencils for the cost of shipping, which was only $3! I planned on using the stencils for backgrounds in my journals, but decided to use this one as my focal point.

Once I stenciled the cats and butterflies, the paper looked too stark, so I embossed the entire front and then added some yellow to dim the bright white of the paper.

Not my best work, but as a cat lover, I would love to receive it. I’m saying this as my cat is snuggling up to me on the couch.

Have a great Tuesday!

Until tomorrow…

Quilling 🌸 Day 5

Do you remember earlier in the week I started off making a tag for my post, but I ripped it? Well, I tried it again and used hole reinforcers and this time it worked out just fine!

I hope you are having a wonderful Friday! I took a vacation day, so I’m looking forward to my 3 day weekend, plus my daughter is coming home for a visit 💕💕

Until tomorrow…

Gift Tags 🏷 Day 3

Today’s tags were fun to make. I cut the shapes out of kraft paper using my Cricut. I cut out four circles-two solid, one of a dog and one of a cat. I covered each of the solid pieces with washi tape and then glued the animal pieces over rhe top of the solid pieces. I finished off each tag by inking the edges with vintage photo oxide ink.

I truly adore how simple and clean these look. I absolutely love them!

Do you use washi in your projects?

Until tomorrow!

Keep crafting,

😻Becky 🐶
