Thank You 😊 Day 6

Welcome!

Today I have another fun handcrafted card to share with you. This design I ended up making quite a few for a special order.

First I embossed a 4″x5.25″ piece of white cardstock. I adhered a piece of 1.25” plain cardstock horizontally across the card and then centered a 1” piece of patterned paper on top of the plain cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment on top of a layered scalloped circle. Finally, I attached the completed card front to an A2 card base. I hope both versions make you smile!

Until tomorrow…

Thank You 😊 Day 5

Welcome!

Today, I have a fun card to share with you, but I also want to share what I am most thankful for. I am most thankful for my daughter making it to her destination yesterday safe and sound. Against my pleading with her, she took a 3.5-hour drive across our state during a snowstorm. Although I was very upset, I’m thankful she made it safe and sound. I love you 💕💕

Thank You 😊 Day 4

Welcome!

I tried my hand at a new greeting card style. I used different widths and patterns of washi tape as the background. It was actually pretty quick to put together. I was pleasantly pleased that the tape lined up nicely and didn’t get all cockeyed.

Once I completed the background, I used my scalloped paper punch and my circle paper punch to create a focal point for the sentiment.

Hope this makes you smile 😊

Thank you 😊 Day 3

Welcome!

Today’s Thank You card was made using my Cricut machine. If you own a Cricut, what do you think of your machine? Mine can be temperamental at times. Sometimes it will cut perfectly, but other times I can’t seem to cut anything but a straight line.

Today, I didn’t have any issues. I used two very pretty yellow cardstock sheets to make this gem. Before I made the first cut, I resized the card in Design Space down to an A2 size card.

The yellow hue makes this card extra cheery!

Thank You 😊 Day 2

Welcome!

Do you like 3×3 cards? I’m a bit obsessed with them. I’m not sure why, but every chance I have, I make a few. Today is no exception!

Today’s card would be a perfect thank you card for a baby shower gift. My daughter’s friend just found out she is pregnant with a little girl, so I plan on making up a set for her as a surprise!

Hope you are having a great week!

Thank you 😊 Day 1

Welcome!

Today I would like to share with you a new theme in handcrafted cards. This week I will focus on thank you cards.

I found a similar design on Pinterest. I used an old heart punch and created balloons, held with twine and a satin bow. I stamped the card front with a sentiment and then embossed it for more interest. Finally, I attached the card front to an A2 size card base.

This card could be used for many different occasions. Just simply trade out the sentiment to match your special day.

Thinking of You 🤔 Day 7

Welcome!

Today I would like to share with you the final handcrafted card in this week’s series. I let my beautiful paper pack do the work for this special card.

I simply cut a piece of floral paper down to 3”X5.5” and then used dark blue paper as the mat. I adhered the piece to an A2 size card base made from yellow cardstock. I finished it off with a simple sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed this week’s Thinking of You collection.

Thinking of You 🤔 Day 6

Welcome!

Today, I have another Pinterest inspired handcrafted card. My hubby had to help me with this card. I’m not very good at centering my paper pieces, so I had to call in for some help!

I ended up making this card in a few different colors. It was fun! I hope you like it.

Thinking of You 🤔 Day 5

Welcome and happy Friday!

Today’s card was inspired by YouTuber, Stacy Williams. I followed along with her video:

This is definitely a card I’m going to mass produce! Do you prefer to take your time on one special card, or do you like to mass produce your creations? I like mass producing. After 20 or so times, I usually get it just the way I want it 😀

Thinking of You 🤔 Day 4

Welcome!

It’s still awfully cold in these parts, but it did warm up to -9 today! So much better than -31! I get off track pretty easily!

Yesterday I shared a handcrafted card that was full of ”oops” moments, so I decided to try it again. Today’s card turned out perfectly!

Life can be full of frustrations and for me, I can get pretty down on myself. It is so important not to do that, but to take those frustrations and turn them into opportunities. I would love to share my latest, ”opportunity” with you.

Until tomorrow…
